MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Two men robbed at gunpoint in the Parkway Village area were driven to Arlington and ordered to strip naked before the suspects took off in one victim's car.
According to the victims' statements made to Memphis police, a 41-year-old man was stopped on Knight Arnold at S Perkins just before 6:30 a.m. on March 21 when two black males approached his car. One suspect pointed a gun at him, ordered him into the backseat with his head down and took his wallet.
The suspects then drove off in the victim's Chevy Blazer and pulled up to a 26-year-old man walking down Knight Arnold. The suspect in the passenger's seat pointed a gun at the man and ordered him into the back of the car with the other victim. When the second victim told the suspects he didn't have any money, the suspect driving the car hit him in the back of the head.
The suspects then demanded the first victim's PIN for his bank card and said if it turned out to be wrong the suspects would kill both of the victims. The suspects drove to the 6500-block of Brunswick Road near 385 in Arlington, ordered the victims to strip naked and run away with their backs to the vehicle.
The victims were found by Shelby County Sheriff's deputies walking naked along Brunswick Road.
