MEMPHIS, TN - From livestock shows to demolition derby, there's one place you can find it all. The Delta Fair begins Friday at the fairgrounds around the Agricenter at Shelby Farms.

The fair has your usual fair favorites such as roller coaster rides, carnival games and fair food. But there are also some less common attractions, such as monkeys riding dogs, MMA fights and, new this year, pig wrestling.

“We've got about 62 rides. We've got over 20 free shows,” said Delta Fair President Mark Lovell. “So we’ve got a lot to see and do, so I'd put in on your schedule to come more than once, because I don't think you're going to see everything at the Delta Fair in one day.”

Gates open at 2 pm Friday. The Delta Fair runs through September 12th. Admission is $9 for adults, $5 for kids and children 4 years old and younger get in free. Parking is $5.

If the pronto pups aren't hand made, why mention them?
