MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Germantown police arrested two suspects accused of burglarizing three homes and eluding investigators for several days.

22-year-old Chase Lipsey and 18-year-old Cheyenne Payton were apprehended Monday, August 6 after the vehicle fitting the description of the one used in the burglaries was spotted at a northeast Memphis hotel near Sycamore View and I-40. The pair is accused of stealing several items from three Germantown homes after they broke in through back doors.

The suspects were identified through CrimeStoppers tips after surveillance photos were released to the public on August 2.

Chase Lipsey and Cheyenne Payton are each charged with three counts of Aggravated Burglary and three counts of Theft of Property over $500.
