MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The father of a Memphis police officer, charged with raping a family member, was also arrested for sexually abusing several family members.

According to police documents, four female family members accuse Henry Monger, 61, of raping them over the course of several years. One teen victim told investigators Monger began to forcibly rape her when she was five years old.

Henry Monger and his wife, Barbara, were arrested on October 18. Henry Monger is charged with two counts of Rape of a Child, two counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery and three counts of Rape. He remains in jail on a $500,000 bond. Barbara Monger is charged with Coercion of a Witness and has since been released on bond.

Henry and Barbara Monger are the parents of MPD Officer Cornelius Monger, 33, who is charged with Rape, Statutory Rape by an Authority Figure and Incest. Investigators have not released many details on the circumstances surrounding his arrest, nor whether any of the victims in both cases are the same.

Officer Cornelius Monger has been with the Memphis Police Department since July 2006. He has been relieved of duty pending the outcome of the investigation.
