MARION, Ark. (AP, abc24.com) - Authorities have identified the two elderly men found dead in a Marion home, but investigators are still awaiting a cause of death.

The men's bodies were discovered Monday after officers and the fire department responded to a call of an unresponsive party. One man was found dead in the hallway and the second man was found dead in a bathroom.

Marion police Lt. Gerald Martin identified the victims as 69-year-old John Thomas Shaffer and 73-year-old James Arlie Hill.

Martin says autopsy results have not revealed any sign of trauma on either body. He says the medical examiner's office is investigating the cause of death and that final results will take up to 8 weeks for toxicology analysis.
