MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police are searching for a suspect in the deadly shooting of a woman Wednesday night.
Officers were called to the 800-block of Cypress Drive around 9:40 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13. When they arrived they found a female victim, later identified as 34-year-old Chekisha Scott, on the ground with a gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
So far there are no suspects in custody.
