Police Investigating North Memphis Homicide

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A man was found shot dead inside his car in the middle of a north Memphis intersection early Tuesday morning, and police need help finding the killer.

Officers were called to the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Randle Street just east of North Watkins around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17. When they arrived, they found an unresponsive 60-year-old man in a 2007 Nissan Maxima stopped in the middle of the street. When police checked on the man they found he had been shot. An ambulance was called and paramedics pronounced the man dead on the scene.

The victim was later identified as 60-year-old Ralph Parrot.
