MEMPHIS, TN--Six days and counting, and still, no one has heard from missing mother Karen Thomas.
Thomas was last seen by her husband at their Raleigh home Thursday. Her truck was found abandoned in the parking lot of Garden Ridge in northeast Memphis Monday morning.
According to family and friends of 31-year-old Karen Thomas, she and her husband Terrence are going through a divorce. They say the couple continued to live together with their two children.
Thomas has not been to her home in nearly a week.
"We're doing the best we can to try and locate her," said Memphis PIO Karen Rudolph.
Rudolph says the Memphis Police Department is also trying to locate the person responsible for Thomas' disappearance.
"There are several individuals we're talking to, people that know her, know her habits," said Rudolph.
One of those people is Thomas' husband, Terrence Thomas. Police questioned him at their downtown headquarters for several hours Tuesday. They also searched the couple's home.
Police are still handling this as a missing person's case, but police do admit the chances of finding a missing person alive diminish with each passing day.
