MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police are searching for witnesses to a double shooting that killed an innocent bystander in January.

The shooting occurred on Saturday, January 12 at the Bella Vista Apartments in the Hickory Hill area. Investigators say an argument outside escalated and shots were fired, hitting two male victims. Both were transported to The MED.

One victim, 20, has since been released from the hospital and is still recovering from his injuries. The second victim, 20-year-old Albert Spencer, Jr., died a few days later. Police say Spencer was an unintended target.

Several witnesses have been questioned, but investigators still do not have a clear description of the suspect.
