MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Police are seeking two suspects in a "Pigeon Drop" scam that they began investigating on Thursday, October 13, 2011 around 4:00 p.m.

Police say on that day, the received a call about two suspects posing as Memphis Police Detectives claiming that a local bank was involved in a counterfeit money scheme. The suspects convinced a victim to withdraw large sums of money from several area banks.

The suspect in the photo attached to this story was seen at each bank during the time the victim was making the withdrawals.

Police are asking anyone who can identify this suspect, or with any information on this crime, to call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.
