Memphis Police held a news conference Sunday afternoon, February 3, 2008, to release more information on the murder of Lt. Ed Vidulich.

According to Memphis Police Director Larry Godwin, Vidulich was targeted for his guns.

Details were also released that Dexter Cox and Vidulich formed a relationship after Cox gave him information about burglaries at his home.

Officials say Cox admitted to two more Frayser murders that happened in 2007. They say he is responsible for the murders of Herbert Wooten and Gwendolyn Cherry.

No word yet on when he will be charged for those murders.

For a person to take 3 lives for personal gain is outrages..... He has no concern or empathy for human life it is time for the public to stand up and be heard. It is time for the Death penalty to ring the bell of justice to this maliciousness.

Give this scum the death penalty, life has no meaning and if he is released the public will again pay the ultimate price.
