MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A burglary suspect is out of the hospital and behind bars after she jumped from a 2nd story window while 5 months pregnant to avoid arrest.

On January 9, Deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff's Fugitive Apprehension Team went to arrest April Brigance, 25, on burglary charges. When they arrived at her south Memphis apartment, deputies saw Brigance open a window on the second floor and jump to the street. She was apprehended a short time later limping through the courtyard.

Brigance was taken to The MED due to her pregnancy and later booked at the Shelby County Jail.
