MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com)-Robert Jackson, a 74-year-old Navy veteran, has been missing since January 11th.
His wife, Rosetta Jackson, told abc24.com "I'm scared and I'm worried. That's my other part he does all my thinking for me."
The last time she saw her husband, the two argued, and he left to go to the store. He was last seen leaving their home on Atmore, near Perkins and American Way. He hasn't been seen since. Despite her concerns, it took Jackson eight days to report her husband missing.
She told abc24.com she took so long to call police because he's disappeared before.
"I said 'well, he'll be back when check time came, he'll be home today because he's going to need some money'," but then when he didn't come home I said call the police cause something's wrong."
Robert Jackson's kids say they talked to their Dad everyday before he disappeared and it's not like him to not call anyone.
