MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com)-Former University of Memphis basketball star Roburt Sallie denies he was cut from his Spanish basketball team for taking the male enhancement pill Extenze. He says leaving the team was partly his decision.

Sallie told abc24.com, "if you believe I took Extenze you crazy."

He says "if somebody really believes that I needed to take a male enhancement to make my penis larger that's funny that's laugh out loud."

People around the country have been laughing out loud because that's exactly what's been reported.

Sallie admits to taking a male enhancement pill but not Extenze. He told abc24.com "I took Black Ant. It's not Viagra but it's in the line of that."

Sallie says there's a reason he took Black Ant.

"My girlfriend comes into town" he said "I hadn't seen her in 2 months so I took the pill."
