Shelby Co. Property Taxes Up as Home Values Decline

The Shelby County Property Assessor mailed out reappraisals Monday. Homeowners will see a drop in property values but an increase in property taxes.

With the Unifed School System going on I wouldn't be banking on property values going up.Just taxes

It doesn't really matter what happens. Whether it be property or gas or utilities. You are going to pay more taxes reguardless. Just when you think you might get a break. You look up and it's a train.
