Shelby County Officials Defend 48-Hour Jail Holds

Some Shelby County officials are continuing to defend the practice of holding people in jail for 48 hours without probable cause, even though courts have repeatedly told them it violates the law.

I can see if theres cause too, but if theres not cause too they do thats not right..They need also to get with time or be investigated for this,THat not right unless person does the crime!!

Our country holds people a lot longer than that. Our local courts are behind the times it seems.
