Memphis police were called to the Douglass Community Center Thursday afternoon after reports of shots fired near the swimming pool entrance.
The incident occurred just after 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 14. According to initial police reports, the shooting happened after a fight broke out between two men, one of which was shot in the ankle. The victim was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
Investigators say the victim bumped shoulders with the suspect and would not apologize when confronted by the suspect and his friends.
Police are looking for three suspects; so far nobody is in custody.
