MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police arrested six people, including four juveniles, for two attempted robberies in the downtown area.
The first incident happened on Main Street near Union Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on April 22. Investigators stated that two men, ages 45 and 48, were walking in the area when six male suspects surrounded them and demanded money. The two men began fighting with the suspects, and they ran away empty-handed.
A short time later another man, 37, was walking near Main Street and Madison Avenue when he was approached by five suspects demanding money. He refused and the suspects ran away.
Officers later identified and arrested 20-year-old Terrell Adair, 19-year-old Delphi Neal, two 16-year-old suspects and two 15-year-old suspects. Adair and the four juveniles were all charged with 3 counts of Attempted Robbery; Neal was charged with two counts of Attempted Robbery.
