Well, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that this man is a fraud and a thief.. If he hasn't done anything wrong, then why did the Southaven Police Chief, Tom Long, escort him in and out of the press conference today? Is this the Chief's new job responsibility, baby sitting Greg Davis? One would think that the Chief would have more pressing duties, like chasing bad buys. Well, maybe that's what he IS doing! The party is not over yet, the fat lady hasn't sung and she may not sing for a long time. Refresh my memory, when is the next election?

Right, Jeff...no Democrat has ever fell from grace misusing someone else's money. That's all they do! These politicians have no pride. It's all about them. They all believe they make the sun come up. This guy just needs to go. Southaven will be just fine w/o him.

This doesn't have anything to do with sexual orientation. He mis-used taxpayers money and he knew he was doing it! If he hadn't been questioned, this would still be going on and he would be laughing behind all of our backs. He should not be allowed to remain in office. He may have done some great things for Southaven, but he has also taken advantage and used taxpayer money for personal use knowing full well that it was not appropriate!

Actually, I think him being gay is a huge disgrace. A huge disgrace to the gay community. A gay republican. . . it doesn't really get more conflicted than that. Also, I don't think you get much milage out of the "gay" card in Mississippi.

He fits in right where he is at. In a city of science denying, right wing, religious freak Republicans who claim to be fiscally responsible and morally superior, however, they are anything but. Mississippi Code 25-4-109. Penalties; elected and nonelected public servants (1) Upon a finding by clear and convincing evidence that any elected public servant or other person has violated any provision of this article, the commission may censure the elected public servant or impose a civil fine of not more than Ten Thousand Dollars ($ 10,000.00), or both. The commission may further recommend to the Circuit Court for Hinds County that the elected public servant be removed from office. (3) The commission may order restitution or other equitable or legal remedies to recover public funds or property unlawfully taken, as well as unjust enrichment, although not public funds. Any pecuniary benefit received by a public servant in violation of this article may be declared forfeited by the commission for the benefit of the governmental entity injured. (4) In the event a public servant does not appeal the decision or recommendation of the commission, the commission may petition the Circuit Court for Hinds County for the removal, suspension, demotion or reduction of pay of the public servant as provided by law.
