NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The state health department has recalled a list of 74 facilities that received suspect medication from the New England pharmacy tied to the deadly fungal meningitis outbreak.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration provided the list but later said that some of the data was incorrect. The FDA said it is working to correct the list and will repost it to the FDA website when staff is sure it is accurate.

The medications the Tennessee facilities received are not the injectable steroids believed to have caused some patients to develop meningitis. Health Department officials have said the newly suspect medications are of significantly less concern than the steroids.

The department said in a news release that officials believe the updated list will reveal many fewer facilities affected by the recall.
