I truly sympathize with parents who don't want their impressionable children required to go to class with so many underclass children from homes with no fathers except the gang that substitutes and makes many of them thugs and unwed mothers with horrible anger management skills and no orientation to postponement of gratification by studying hard for a reliably good paying career. I call upon those people to undo the stupid government programs that have caused this sad state of affairs; but I have had no luck getting people to toughen up their human concern. There is still hope that economic class differences pertaining to these suburbs will not be destroyed by more of the strangely continuing school busing left over from the days of de jure segregation "remedies"; but there are plenty of bad apples all over the place to worry a truly and correctly concerned parent. To them I will also say: send your kids to a private school that costs too much for low-class kids to get in, and quit looking to the taxpayer to pay for your kids' custodians and instructors ... the way it used to be done.
