I wish Dr. Cash the best in his search for a suitable position. Memphis appears content to lie in the throes of despair. The many years of exquisite service by Dr. Herenton was made villainous by the Memphis news media and a gullible public. Dr. Cash likewise has received no support or acceptance from a racist and stupefied population. Many here still long for the days of Mayors Loeb and Chandler.
