MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The suspect in a Millington bank robbery has turned himself in to police.
The robbery occurred at the InSouth Bank on Highway 51 on Tuesday, November 13. The suspect came in posing as a customer, then indicated he had a weapon and demanded money from teller. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash, last seen driving southbound on Highway 51 in a white 4-door car with a mismatched rear bumper.
The Safe Streets Task Force and Millington Police Department conducted a joint investigation and identified 21-year-old Robert Anderson as a suspect. Anderson turned himself in at the Millington Police Department Wednesday and was arrested.
Anderson will be charged in Federal Court on Friday, November 26.
