MILLINGTON, TN (abc24.com) - Shelby County Sheriff's deputies arrested a suspect accused of stabbing someone multiple times during a fight.
Deputies were called to Methodist North Hospital about an assault victim around 6 a.m. on Feb. 12. When they arrived, the victim's girlfriend told investigators he had gotten into an argument with 28-year-old Eric Small about her roommate. The victim then drove Small to his parent's house on the 6700-block of Navy Road, where they fought again.
During the altercation, the victim was stabbed in the chest, stomach, hip and arm. He was transported to The MED for surgery and was last reported in stable condition.
Deputies arrested Eric Small on Feb. 22 and charged him with Aggravated Assault. He was booked at the Shelby County Jail on $65,000 bond.
