Suspect Wanted For Millington Bank Robbery

MILLINGTON, TN (abc24.com) - The Shelby County Sheriff's Office is searching for the man who robbed a Millington bank on January 31, 2012.

The suspect walked in the Trustmark Bank on the 7900-block of Highway 51 around 12:30pm posing as a customer. He approached a teller and demanded money, implying that he had a weapon. The man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, got into a black early 2000's model Chevrolet Monte Carlo with red writing, and fled the scene headed eastbound on Easley Street.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-30's, around 5'10"-6' tall, between 230-300 lbs, and last seen wearing glasses, a black knit hat, a white shirt and gray pants.
