Suspect Wanted for Deadly Attempted Robbery

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A botched robbery left one man dead Saturday night and Memphis police are searching for the killer.

Officers were called to the 2400-block of Lindbergh Road around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, September 15. When they arrived, they found a male victim, later identified as 34-year-old Eric Campbell, had been shot. He was transported to The MED where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators say the victim was shot during an attempted robbery, but there are no suspects in custody.

It's sad that these kind of stories are the norm that are around here. A lot of good happens in Memphis as well, but the crime and low lifes that refuse to work and have a sense of pride about their city bring this city so far down....sad!!
