MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis Police have identified a suspect in the shooting death of a man in the Orange Mound area.
On January 10, 2012, officers were called to the 800-block of Maywood St just before 5:00pm. A male victim was found lying in a vacant lot with a gunshot wound. An ambulance was called to the scene and transported the victim to The MED where he was pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as 24-year-old Michael Burrows.
Investigators determined that the victim was shot by 21-year-old Montrel Davis on the 800-block of Inez St and ran, collapsing in the vacant lot.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Montrel Davis for First Degree Murder. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call CrimeStoppers at (910 528-CASH (2274).
