MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police are looking for a bumbling would-be robber who tried to hold up a McDonald's drive-thru.
The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18 at the McDonald's on Jackson Avenue near Macon Road. Officers say a suspect pushed open the drive-thru window and pointed a gun at an employee, who then ran to the front of the store to call police.
While still in the drive-thru window, the suspect struggled with his gun as the magazine fell out onto the floor. The suspect ran away empty-handed.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20's, around 6'2", 180 lbs, and last seen wearing all black clothing and a blue bandana over his face.
