Suspect Wanted in Two Attempted Whitehaven Robberies

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police are searching for the suspect who tried to rob two Whitehaven convenience stores.

The first incident occurred around 7:20 a.m. on Monday, June 25 at the Stop N Go on the 4400-block of Millbranch. The suspect implied he had a weapon and demanded money, but left empty-handed.

The same suspect then went to another nearby convenience store, a Texaco on the 2000-block of E. Shelby Drive, later that day. Police say he was armed with a weapon, but left empty-handed again.

The suspect is described as a black male last seen wearing a blue hoodie and white t-shirt with black pants and dark shoes.
