Suspects Sought in South Memphis Store Robbery

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Investigators need help identifying two armed men who robbed a south Memphis grocery story earlier this month.

The robbery occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, July 9 at the Low Cash Grocery on the 600-block of East Trigg Avenue. Police say two black male suspects went in and approached the counter with a handgun and a sawed off shotgun. The suspect with the handgun went behind the counter while the suspect with the shotgun stayed near the door.

The suspects ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Nobody was harmed.

The suspects are described as 23-30 years old, 5'6", between 130-155 lbs and were last seen wearing purple bandanas on their heads.
