MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police are investigating two weekend murders with no suspects in custody so far.
On Friday, November 2, officers responded to a shooting around 8 p.m. at the corner of Eldridge Avenue and N Belvedere Blvd in north Memphis. When they arrived they found a male victim, later identified as 21-year-old Denterio Hudson, lying in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound. Hudson was pronounced dead on the scene.
Then just before 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, officers on routine patrol near Neptune Street and Grove Road in south Memphis found a vehicle parked in an alley with a man lying next to the driver's side. An ambulance was called to the scene and pronounced the man dead due to a gunshot wound. The victim's identity has not been released.
