MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Police are searching for two suspects who robbed and assaulted a woman as she was getting of a MATA bus last month.
Memphis officers responded to a robbery call at 180 Market Place around 9:15 p.m. on Friday, August 14. The victim told police she had just gotten off a MATA bus at Third and Market when two male suspects assaulted her and stole her purse.
Both suspects are described as black males between 17-20 years old. One suspect is 6', 165 lbs with a short haircut, last seen wearing a peach shirt and khaki pants. The second suspect is 5'6", 145 lbs with short hair, last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts.
