MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP, abc24.com) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has added a 22-year-old man suspected of being involved in a fatal drive-by shooting in Mississippi to the state's most wanted list.
The agency said in a statement Wednesday that Rico Reynaldo Fleming is wanted by authorities in Marshall County, Miss., on one count of homicide in the Christmas morning shooting that killed 16-year-old Derica Patterson of Memphis. Fleming, of Moscow, Tenn., also is charged with five counts of drive-by shooting.
The TBI says authorities in Fayette County, Tenn., also are searching for Fleming for allegedly violating his probation on charges including attempted second degree murder.
Fleming has a previous arrest history in the West Tennessee area that dates back to 2007 and includes unlawful possession of a weapon, DUI, aggravated assault, assault and evading arrest.
Fleming is a black male with black hair and brown eyes and also goes by the alias Rico Poole. He was last seen in a black, 2000 Buick Park Avenue with Tennessee license plate 074 ZSV. Fleming is 6’2,” weighs 170 lbs, is considered armed and dangerous and should be approached with caution.
