TBI Searches Union City Church, Arrests Pastor

UNION CITY, TN (abc24.com) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant at a church in Union City and arrested the pastor, who was wanted in Virginia for soliciting a minor.

According to the TBI, 34-year-old Grady Evans was arrested March 20 on a fugitive warrant out of Fairfax County, Virginia on charges of using a communications device to solicit a minor. The TBI's Internet Crimes against Children Task Force assisted in the investigation.

Grady Evans has served as pastor at the First Church of God in Union City. He is being held at the Obion County Jail without bond until he is extradited to Virginia to face the charge.
