If politicians can't manage their own money, how they can they make decisions about hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer money? That's what people are saying about Memphis City Councilwoman Janis Fullilove filing bankruptcy. She's the latest politician to file bankruptcy, but she's not the only one.

It is irrelevant if "she" is not the ONLY one. What IS relevant, is the fact that the standards for 'politicians' are so pitifully LOW, & they STILL get re-elected.

This is pathetic. But the sad thing is that she will be in her position looking after OUR city until they carry her out on a stretcher. Memphis' apathy about piss-poor city management defies belief. Whine about it, but CHANGE IT? Never going to happen. And that's why these laughable "City Officials" keep pushing the envelope.
