MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Yellow Cab and its local drivers raised $1,000 for CrimeStoppers in memory of Kevin Grills.

Grills was shot to death August 14 in his cab in downtown Memphis. An in-cab video showed the shooter firing several shots at Grills from the backseat and then going through his pockets.

Thanks to a CrimeStoppers tip police arrested Timothy Aldridge within 48 hours. He's charged with First Degree Murder.

Drivers and employees raised money, and Yellow Cab matched it.
