MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A Memphis teen is behind bars for throwing a woman's puppy up in the air, killing it, and kicking the puppy's body down the street.

19-year-old Charles Keith was arrested after a woman reported that on June 20, Keith took her puppy and threw it over a power line, killing it when it landed. Witnesses told officers that they saw Keith kick the puppy's body several times down the street with "no legitimate purpose," the affidavit states.

Charles Keith was charged with Aggravated Animal Cruelty and booked at the Shelby County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

He is an absolute piece of crap; he has no morality or compassion whatsoever and will more than likely wreak havoc in the lives of innocent people for the rest of his days....maybe he was raised by two (or even one) loving parents that only had as many children as they (or she) could afford and this is just a fluke...but I doubt it.

In a few years, he will be working for the Memphis Humane Shelter. He is exactly the kind of talent they require. Being am executor of homeless pets doesn't require much heart or compassion.

@ReligionStinks, Actually you are the one who came closest to saying it when you called for the death of this boy. It sucks and it is a terrible crime that should be punished, but no dog's life is worth as much as even the worst gang-banging POS human alive. I totally understand that this is especially wrong because an animal is always innocent and never really derserves to be hurt, I just think it's blown out of proportion. Animals are animals. We butcher and eat them all day, everyday and I've passed several dead pets laying in the road this week alone. I can tell you where they are at if you would like to go weep over their bodies.

Golden Taint, ou exhibit the typical Memphis ghetto mentality about pets. Who the hell said this dog's life was more important that the life of an innocent person? WHO?? WHO?????? This dog's death is certainly worse than that of a gang banger or a career criminal, but not more so than that of an innocent person.

I love how everyone comes out of the woodwork to express their rage over a dog dying. You know, a dog, just like the several dead ones in the street that you all pass every day while driving. This boy is obviously insane/evil and deserves to be punished. I just don't understand how dogs warrent more outrage than people do.

How long before it starts with humans? If you ever needed any proof that they will NEVER evolve, look no further than the local news. I guess "reverend" al will organize a march saying that the puppy provoked it. (& I DO mean 'it).........

People do stupid things for no apparent reason and with that being said he needs to rot in jail for killing an innocent puppy.
