chytae - great point. morals, respect for others and common decency are in very short supply these days. whether you believe in the bible or not you cannot deny the facts that as a people we only get worse everyday. so without a foundation or no principles to stand on does ANYONE expect us to get any better ?

I agree, everyday something tragic happens all over the world, but sadly this was foretold in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. “But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.” Doesn't this describe our whole world?!? But God gives us a hope no one else can offer...(Psalms 37:10,11)
