MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Three accused robbers are behind bars after they tried to rob a northeast Memphis catfish restaurant.
Police were called to the Cajun Catfish Company on the 1600-block of Sycamore View Road around midnight on Tuesday, July 3. When they arrived, the manager told officers that three men armed with a shotgun tried to force him back inside the business as he was leaving for the night. The manager refused, and the three suspects fled in a white Nissan Sentra.
The suspects were spotted driving northbound on I-240 near Covington Pike, where they were pulled over and arrested.
46-year-old Walter Davis, 44-year-old James McCarroll, and 47-year-old Darryl Thomas were all charged with Criminal Attempt Felony: Aggravated Robbery. All were booked at the Shelby County Jail on $40,000 bond.
