MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Three people were taken to the hospital after fights broke out at a Millington nightclub early Saturday morning.
Shelby County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to partied injured at Lorraine's Lounge on the 6500-block of Navy Road just after 2 a.m. on Feb. 25. Investigators stated the bar was closing up when a female patron claimed she was hit in the head by a man. A fight ensued and as security was trying to break it up, three people were stabbed in the melee, including two security guards.
A female victim was treated at Methodist North and released for cuts to her chest and arm. One security guard was taken to The MED for cuts to his side and hip. He has since been released.
The second security guard was slashed across his abdomen and was taken to The MED with extensive internal injuries. He underwent surgery and was last reported in stable condition.
Investigators added that some of the minor injuries appeared to have been inflicted with some type of razor blade.
