It's the us against them attitude fostered by greedy, right wing oligarchs. Football, racism, homophobia, corporate greed, religion, selfishness, materialism: These scourges on our society are to blame for the divisiveness we all live with these days. Supply-side, trickle-down economic policies historically have produced nothing but poverty and greed. The more working class people are oppressed, the worse our society becomes. The wealth of our nation is enjoyed by fewer and the wages of the working class have become stagnant. This is America today.
