SOUTHAVEN, MS (abc24.com) - Remembering those who died during the Vietnam War. The traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall is in Southaven this weekend.

Hundreds of people are expected to visit the wall, which honors those who served and died in the war. The wall is three-fifths the size of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C.; it stands six feet tall at the center and covers almost 300 feet from end to end.

Vietnam veteran Bob Croslow told abc24.com, "Obviously not everyone can take the time to travel to Washington DC, and this gives a larger segment of America, and a greater segment of the Vietnam Veteran population, to look at the wall, remember their friends, spend time with other combat veterans, and remember the positive aspects of the Vietnam War."

The wall is at the Landers Center in Southaven through Monday, May 14.
