DUNDEE, MS (abc24.com) - A north Mississippi couple was found dead in their carport after an apparent domestic dispute early Tuesday morning.

The Tunica County Sheriff's Office was called on reports of shots fired at a home in Dundee on Butler Road shortly after 4 a.m. on May 8. When they arrived on the scene, a male and female victim was found shot in the carport. An ambulance was called, but both victims were pronounced dead.

The victims were identified as 27-year-old Robert Roach and 43-year-old Terri Lynne Chambers, who both lived at the Butler Road residence. Investigators believe the shooting was domestic, but the victims' bodies have been sent to the state crime lab.
