SARDIS, MS (abc24.com) - Two teen suspects have been arrested for killing a Sardis, Mississippi convenience store owner and injuring an employee Monday night.
The shooting happened at Sama Quick Stop on Highway 51 in Sardis around 11:40 p.m. on Monday, September 17. Investigators say the store's owner was shot in the back of the head as he was closing the store for the night.
A store employee was also shot twice; he was transported to The MED and is expected to recover.
Wednesday, 19-year-old Marcus Thomas and 18-year-old Derrick Walton were arrested and charged with capital murder.
