Two Arrested for Whitehaven Robbery

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police tell abc24.com that two men have been arrested for a robbery that happened in Whitehaven on Monday, October 10, 2011 around 11:50 p.m. at the Mapco Gas Station at 1505 East Brooks Road.

Police say that when they arrived on the scene of the crime, they were told that two men posing as customers jumped over the counter and demanded money from the employees. The suspects pointed their guns at the employees and forced them to open the cash register.

The two men fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

On October 19, police arrested 23-year-old Kevin Fennell and 20-year-old Greg Brown and charged them with aggravated robbery.
