MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Two people were shot dead in separate incidents in Memphis early Saturday morning.
Police were called to the Autumn Ridge Apartments in the Hickory Hill area around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 14. Officers found 20-year-old Marquita Jones inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound; she was pronounced dead on the scene.
A short time later just before 3 a.m., Memphis police were called to a shooting on the 1600-block of Harville near Getwell and Elliston Road, where they found 33-year-old Martine Rodriguez shot dead lying on the ground.
There are no suspects in custody for either shooting.
