MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Two men were murdered in an overnight home invasion in East Memphis, and police are still searching for the killer.
Police were called to a home on East Yates just south of Walnut Grove a few minutes after midnight on Thursday, July 26. Officers found two men with multiple gunshot wounds dead inside the home.
Investigators say an unknown male suspect broke into the house and shot the victims, but there is no other suspect information so far.
The victims were later identified as 26-year-old Anthony Conte and 30-year-old Robert Schmidt.
