SOUTHAVEN, MS (abc24.com) - Two young men from Memphis were arrested by Southaven police for a rash of auto burglaries at area gas stations.

Officers say there have been six auto burglaries since July 17 on Goodman Road between Swinnea and Airways, and in all the theft cases a woman would have her purse stolen from her car while pumping gas.

On Wednesday, July 25, Southaven PD detectives conducted a stakeout and saw a vehicle driving in and out of gas stations that matched the vehicle description given by the burglary victims. Detectives then observed the suspects burglarize another vehicle in the same manner at a gas station on Highway 51 at Custer Drive.

Julian Bradley and Ladarius Sain, both 20-years-old, were arrested after a brief chase. So far both suspects have each been charged with one count of Auto Burglary, but police say more charges are certain as their investigation continues.

Mississippi will teach these young men they are not going to tolerate them or anyone coming across stateline to commit crimes.

Hope the judge puts them in a MS prison for a decade. If they go back to Memphis, they're libel to be released the same day.
