MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police have arrested two teen boys for beating and robbing a man at a Raleigh area apartment complex.

The robbery occurred just after midnight on Tuesday, June 19 at the Raleigh Village Apartments on Yale at Covington Pike. Investigators say a 48-year-old man was walking in the complex when two male suspects beat him with a bottle and took cash from his pockets, then ran away.

The suspects had followed the victim from a nearby gas station and were seen on surveillance video just before the robbery. Another officer recognized the suspects and took them into custody.

Police arrested 15-year-old Tyreese Manuel and 17-year-old Devon Shead and charged both teens with Aggravated Robbery.
