MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police have issued warrants for two suspects wanted for murdering a man at the Homestead Suites near Memphis International.
Officers were called to a shooting at the hotel, located near Airways and I-240 on Corporate Avenue, around 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 21. Police found 26-year-old Cortez Mallard lying in the lobby with a gunshot wound. An ambulance was called and paramedics pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
Investigators identified 20-year-old Kierra Brooks and 23-year-old Ricky Hunt, Jr. as suspects in the case and issued arrested warrants for First Degree Murder.
